Grief is an ongoing battle. I’ve never written about grief before until now. I wrote this song in response to my first time experiencing grief - in efforts to process the complicated & heavy emotions that I started experiencing after losing my Aunt Sharon to Cancer a few years ago. Aunt Sharon was the brightest light in every room … a lover of a great car-ride playlist & one of the best story-tellers I’ve ever known. She was a friend & a leader. She taught me how to confidently march to the beat
