Is Wilson Combat really that good vs. Kimber and others
Mar 17, 2011 · My first 1911 was a Kimber and I was really pleased with it. Hell, I thought Kimber was top shelf until I started checking out guns websites. I was so pleased I purchased several more. I started looking at Wilson Combats, but most cost at least $1000-$1500 more than the most expensive Kimber.

But to guarantee or presume it to be a "given" that any given Wilson 1911 will be more reliable than any given under-$2,000 1911, or even any given under-$1,000 1911, or that $600 Glock is a bit of a stretch.

Wilson Combat Magazine for my new Kimber - 1911Forum
Dec 15, 2010 · I have an 8 round wilson combat magazine that I use with my Rock Island, this magazine has never ever given me any problems. It fits in my kimber just fine. My question is, does anyone know if the wilson combat 7 round magainze is shorter than the 8 round, since it holds one less bullet.

May 1, 2011 · Wilson combat Cocobolo starburst: Easy on my side, Favorite for comfort. Not a real positive grip, doesnt really bite in your hand. Wilson combat G10 Starburst (on Xtac): Love these grips, they dont bother me when i carry unless i sit in a really tight chair, then i just have to adjust a little and all is well. Very good bite in your hand.
