I recently assembled a current Pilot Laser for a friend and found it a very positive experience. The quality and overall design was on par with any of the high quality ARFs out there.

Apr 6, 2014 · I have both a Pilot 37% Edge and a PAU 35% Edge 540T. Both are set up with the same equipment, DA-120, Smart-Fly Competition 12, Futaba 12FG with JR 7811's and 3 A123 batteries. I absolutely love the way the Pilot flies. Very solid. More like an IMAC plane than most Pilot airplanes. Haven't flown the PAU yet because it's still so damn cold here.
