If its tied to 30 that has to be due to the rendering engine eating resources stupidly.

Oct 26, 2023 · I'm really enjoying Metal Gear (1987) and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake (1990). Hopefully they patch the others. I'll be playing MGS1 in the next couple of month's but wasn't planning on MGS2/3 for a long time so hopefully a few patches by then.
