Besides that finding a holster to fit you gun could also present a problem as many of the aftermarket rails sit slightly lower than the guns coming from the factory with an integral rail.

Jan 19, 2014 · Does anybody make a small piece of Weaver or Picatinny rail that is pre-milled and dovetailed on the bottom to replace the stock rear sight of a 1911? Or will this probably be a DIY project? I know THIS would be the place to ask for sure!
