Kimber TLE/RL II in the movie John Wick - 1911Forum
Feb 10, 2017 · John Wick's Kimber was specifically introduced in one scene with Lawrence Fishbourne....."Kimber 1911 45acp 7 round magazine".... First John Wick was a better movie IMHO....but John Wick II kicks up a notch in terms of action and "gunfu" fight scenes. Similar to the Kimber used in "Street Kings"....Keanu Reeves did some fancy chamber check moves.

Aug 31, 2017 · For years I've looked at the Kimber Warrior models in gun stores, shows, online, and etc. thinking that I would love to have one. I've always had a real soft spot for 1911's in general and currently own a Colt Series 80 and a Kimber Compact CDP II both of which shoot great and have had zero problems.

Oct 16, 2005 · Most of my 1911s are series 70. My one series 80 is a Kimber, which has a firing pin safety that works off the grip safety; so no effect on the trigger. The Kimber has had to return to the factory to repair the firing pin safety which did cause the gun to malfunction. The repair was kinda' funky but it does run well now and is one of my favorites.

Sep 2, 2014 · For heavens sake. Buy a 1911 with a Series 80 safety. And maybe, if you get lucky, you may be able to buy a 1911 80 series safety combined with a Shwartz (spelling) safety. Surely these to combined safety systems combined together will make your 1911 the 800 pound gorilla in the forest. The drama will be over. Or you can simply buy a 70 series ...

Apr 23, 2019 · The John Wick movies do a very decent job of weapon manipulation/handling. In that pic, it looks like someone approaching a barrier to engage. Personally I do better if I cant my torso and keep the gun centered, but hey whatever works. Keanu Reeves is actually pretty capable and seems to (mostly) use a modern thumbs fwd grip technique.
