I found it capable of a 1.00" group at 30 feet. I head-shot squirrels with it at close range with fatal effect, most lately an armadillo on the range at twilight with a round of Federal Automatch.

Mar 10, 2014 · AMT - good guns! I have two AMT Lightnings, a pistol (5" bull barrel) and a 25/22 rifle. Both are super solid and reliable. I believe my pistol has a Clark trigger. I owned a .44 Automag once and although a very well-built machine, it was heavy and sensitive to the correct lube in the correct amount in the correct place!
