Ask a Manager * January 4, 2013 at 1:41 pm. I actually prefer that — it makes it a lot easier to tell how long you were really there. If something just says 2011-2012, I have no idea if that means Dec. 2011 – Feb. 2012 or if it’s actually closer to the full two years.
