I use both in different situations as the left stick position is different. SN30 is go-to dpad while Pro controller is all things 3D. SN30 Pro+ is lighter due to the rechargeable battery being very light, but I actually like the heft of the Pro controller very well. The Pro controller also has incredibly impressive battery life.

Nov 21, 2021 · The pro controller’s buttons feel loose, and it’s harder for me to tell when they’ve been actuated. It has analog triggers. You can even map a stick axis to them for driving games that put throttle/brake on one. That plus the app that lets you program macros, remap buttons, etc and IMO it’s solidly superior to the pro controller.

When using the Switch Pro controller to play Switch games, I discovered that the D-Pad and ABXY buttons occasionally fail to respond. It's not a consistent overall delay, but rather intermittent loss of input, where out of 4 button presses only 3 respond.

My couch is about 10ft away from the dock, and when I’m trying to play on my TV while the Switch is docked up there is a bit of a lag on the Joy Cons.
