May 8, 2004 · In it you make a statement about the magnetic head riding above the minidisc a certain distance from the disc during record. In my MZ R55 this head rides right ON the disc during record. As there is no optical function to the magnetic record function side of the disc, there is no harm in scratching it.

Dec 18, 2015 · After Sphig's success with finding a method of replacing worn out batteries for the MZ-N10, MZ-E10 and MZ-1, I thought I'd look into a solution for those of us who have units that run on the almost impossible to replace LIP-4WM using the same inexpensive 3.7 volt battery sourced from eBay.

Mar 19, 2008 · If only it was so easy. Sony stubbornly refuses to provide a professional level Hi-MD deck. There are still quite a few normal MD decks on ebay though (Sony still makes the JE-480/780) and Tascam continues to produce studio grade minidisc decks.

Dec 31, 2022 · The other thing we noticed was that when you rip LP2 tracks from a MiniDisc and then try to copy them over to another one, they get added to the new MD in reverse order. e.g. I r ipped some LP2 tracks from a MiniDisc and it created a series of .wav files on my PC: 1. LP_Song title one.wav 2. LP_Song title two.wav 3. LP_Song title three.wav etc

Apr 1, 2020 · Trying to use it with a Mac going to a MzRH-1 (the ultimate HiMD). It pairs up, the MD says 'ACCESS' but when I hit the 'Connect' button I get this message ' The requested interface implements a protected class' and no 'upload' window appears.
