Sep 24, 2024 · Ryan Kelly stepped into the position of CEO of Sail Canada in March 2024, which he is using to foster a passion for sailing nationwide. Kelly is a lifelong sailor, having joined the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets at the age of 12.

The Corporation’s Board governs the operation of Marine Atlantic Inc. within a strict regulatory environment. The FAA, the Marine Atlantic Inc. Acquisition Authorization Act, and the federal government’s National Marine Policy dictate a framework for the Corporation’s affairs.

Ryan Kelly is currently a dinghy coach at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron and is an active Sail Canada Learning Facilitator. He also spends his spare time focused on developing as an offshore sailor.
