Aug 11, 2014 · Just got an 09 Dodge Charger police package and the hemi engine knocking very loud. I loved the car period. And this is the reason I bought it even though my wife's don't agree with me. The car is driveable but shakes and the loud knocking coming from the top portion of the engine. Not sure if the lifter, valve spring or the rocker arm.

Feb 7, 2009 · as for the hemi swap you should change out the rearend, new gauge cluster, new fuelpump, i am still looking into the trans. a new wiring harness and ecu. the hemi has a 1 gallon bigger fuel tank but o well not worth it when you can just use the one you have. stu and modern muscle have some great things going on for the 3.5 right now.
