Spencer Danielson (born November 2, 1988) [1] is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach at Boise State University, a position he has held since midway through the 2023 season. [2] Danielson previously served as an assistant coach at Boise State and Azusa Pacific University.

One of his first hires at Boise State was Chris Petersen as his offensive coordinator; Petersen was a quarterback at UC Davis while Hawkins was an assistant coach, and was the wide receivers coach at Oregon under head coach Mike Bellotti.

Danielson became the 12th head coach in Boise State football history on Dec. 3, 2023, following a three-week stint as interim head coach. During that time as the fill-in head coach, he guided the Broncos to three straight wins and a Mountain West championship, making history as the first interim FBS head coach to win a conference title game.
