Ironheart (Riri Williams) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mike Deodato , the character first appeared in Invincible Iron Man Vol. 3 #7 (May 2016).

Ironheart is an upcoming American television miniseries created by Chinaka Hodge for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

In the comics, Riri Williams is a young MIT student who managed to reverse-engineer Iron Man technology and create her own suit of armor, becoming known as Ironheart. She was approached by Tony Stark himself who endorsed her desire to be a superhero, so she joined him in the second Civil War against Captain Marvel .

Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

Inspired by Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, and determined to follow in his heroic footsteps, fifteen-year-old super-genius Riri Williams builds her own suit of advanced armor and leads a life of adventure, crime-fighting, and humanitarianism as the Super Hero known as Ironheart.
