May 3, 2010 · One of the most beautiful parts of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is its centerpiece: Barefoot Bay, a huge, 45-acre lake exclusive to the resort and its guests. But in addition to being a stunning set piece for the resort, it also offers the opportunity for several different activities for guests.

Guests stay in one of the small buildings that encircle Barefoot Bay, a 45-acre (180,000 m 2) lake. Buildings are grouped into one of five villages, with shared resources, each named after an island in the Caribbean: Martinique, Barbados, Jamaica, Aruba, and Trinidad.

Barefoot Bay is a large lake in the center of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World. The stunning lake sits amongst the resort’s villages, recreation areas, and neighboring Disney’s Riviera Resort.

I’ve been here a couple of times this week with a friend who is from Long Island and knows his seafood. We agreed this place is excellent.
