I closed that application, and the notification disappeared from view. I looked through my iPhone. I found no notifications at all. The public-safety alert did not appear in either Messages or Mail.

Dec 26, 2017 · An Amber Alert came through the other nite on my phone and watch. I was able to delete it from the phone but not from the watch. Every time I swipe down the Amber Alert comes up. I scroll up and press dismiss, it goes away and it immediately comes back over and over. I have turned off and restarted both the watch and phone.

We have a flash flood in the area, she received the emergency alert and I did not. Two identical phones, same iOS and same carrier. This has happened a few time before.
