Suggest staying with standard thickness on the right and going to their thick option on the operable left window. usually thicker glass causes headaches for installation, however left left 182 window MUST have a spacer installed.

Lake effect snow is a totally different phenomenon, and it's tough to compete with the lee of the lakes in terms of snowfall frequency and totals. I only brought it up in response to another post about streamers off Lake Erie reaching CT.

They suggested going with Great Lakes for the windshield since it typically requires less work than LP Aero to trim to fit, but Great Lakes doesn't yet offer UV protection in clear, so LP Aero it is.

Jul 24, 2024 · No great economic boom in PA anywhere. My cousins moved to PA from coastal Long Island. They went from little snow to massive amounts of snow. Their facebook posts have four feet of snow with power outages. As I get older, the cold bothers my joints more. The wind/snow off the Great Lakes is would be impossible to take.

I just received my Northern Mist Whisper bow a little over a month ago. Super smooth. Hits where I point it. No stack or hand shock whatsoever. Also a good looking bow.

I once located some tree stumps in 40 feet of water that carbon-dated at 7000 years old --lake levels were lower before the glacial dam broke releasing the water that shaped the modern Great Lakes. There are estimated to be at least 6000 wrecks in the Great Lakes. Fun times!

Jan 5, 2015 · Why don't we just analyze the numbers of flights over significant bodies of water such as the great lakes, The Pacific flight to Catalina etc. The must be a way to analyze the NTSBs records for flights over a specific body of water say lake Michigan that have failed due to engine issues and compare them to flights over that given body of water ...

May 21, 2007 · Thanks for the great write-up, Ken. I've flown the Citabria and had fun with it. The instructor was the barking type and after the first lesson, I decided to look for another one. This other instructor has a Pitts. I've never flown Pitts, just heard that the landings are "interesting".
