Really, just fun in general ! Island Tour is my favorite Mario Party game outside of Mario Party DS. It was the first game that Bowser Jr. was a playable character so that was pretty cool. It would be good if it wasn't labeled as Mario Party. The Bowser Board has a good concept.

Bowser didn’t even become invincible with the Star Rod’s power alone. He needed to be supercharged by Kammy’s power platform to accomplish that. And then he still gets beaten because Peach and the Mushroom Kingdom had an even stronger wish.

It's not the exact same, but it's very similar and is definitely an intentional leitmotif - the low piano melody in Bowser's Castle is a slowed down, minor key version of Maple Treeway's harmonica melody, played in half time - it might be easier to hear if you speed up the Bowser's Castle theme ...
