Am I an idiot for wanting to buy a brand new DRZ400SM?
May 3, 2013 · The other option, which I'm leaning towards, is to just go the the dealer and buy a brand new SM. Suzuki has a 0% financing deal right now that I'm fairly confident I'd qualify for, which is very tempting already. I love the new color scheme, and having a brand new bike with a warranty and zero miles is very intriguing.

Hey guys I have a 2014 sm and wanted to start doing more off road and back trails, I kind of get away with it on the supermoto tires but obviously they're not ideal and I was looking to buy a set of dirt bike rims so I can swap over. doing all the pricing it looks like it's going to be relatively expensive to do so somewhere in the 2000- $3,000CAN range.

May 1, 2022 · Ya there is a difference. I swapped from s to Supermoto and the steering was rad. All nice and tight. When I went back to dirt wheels. The 21” in the front was all weird feeling. It was almost an awkward feeling. I have the dirt set still. I just rip my Supermoto wheels in dirt. Honestly I’m surprised at how well they hold up.
Is the DRZ 400S a good bike to learn off-road riding on?
Oct 31, 2013 · So I want to get into dual-sport life and I've done a good amount of research on the various bikes. The DRZ seems like the right mix of having enough power for the road (even if it won't excel at highway riding with stock gearing, the narrow seat and small gas tank) and still be pretty light and handle well in the dirt.

Nov 5, 2021 · When you are installing the OEM DRZ400 kickstart, know that there is MORE that the “instructions” either skimp on, are unclear on, or just generally could explain better. This can lead to anything from minor confusion during reassembly, to a worst case engine rebuild — which is what I’m now having to consider.
