The Brooklyn Nets are sixth in the NBA Lottery odds so it seems like luck is key to them. Would the Nets take Baylor's VJ Edgecombe third overall?

One of the best landing spots for Edgecombe would be the Charles Lee-coached Charlotte Hornets if they decide to select him with the third pick. Rutgers Scarlet Knights sensation Ace Bailey is expected to be chosen with that selection, but they may also opt to choose Edgecombe given his two-way potential.

Edgecomb, from Bimini, Bahamas, came to Baylor after spending two years of high school in West Palm Beach, Florida, and finishing his senior year in Brookville, New York. He was named the New York Gatorade Player of the Year.
