Vanderbilt won 40-35 in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, handing Alabama its first loss of the season, and its first defeat under new head coach Kalen DeBoer. For Vandy, the win snapped a 23-game losing streak to Alabama. It was also the Commodores first win against a team ranked No. 1 in the AP Top 25 Poll.
