Utah quarterback Cam Rising, now in his seventh season of college football, has become a compelling storyline as he battles to return from yet another injury

“Utah QB Cam Rising will start Friday at Arizona State,” McMurphy reported. “Rising hasn’t played since Sept. 7 vs. Baylor, when he injured the ring finger on his throwing hand, requiring stitches. Rising has missed Utah’s last 3 games.”

The Cam Rising injury saga has yet to end, but an end may be in sight as the quarterback is waiting on medical clearance which could come sooner rather than later.
