Sega has launched its own account service, simply called – wait for it – Sega Account. Users can sign up for free now via the official website, with the service promising to offer up unique rewards and benefits to those who play Sega and Atlus titles across all major platforms.

Sega has introduced a new unified Sega account system that gives you access to "exclusive bonuses", including a free Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii skin.

SEGA Account offers cross-platform linking & exclusive bonuses for favorite titles. Sign up by March 7, 2025 for exclusive benefits like Kiryu Special Outfit. Special DLC for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is available with a new account.

Those who create an account by March 7 will receive a special in-game costume in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The costume in question is the Kazuma Kiryu Special Outfit, which lets Goro Majima dress up as the franchise's original protagonist. You can also get this same outfit by signing up for Sega's newsletter by February 25.

Similar to other account clients, registering for a SEGA account promises special bonuses, discounts, and major news regarding SEGA and Atlus games.

Sega has launched a new online profile designed to used across its games going forwards. Sega Account is described by the company as “an online profile that gives you access to a host of benefits when playing Sega and Atlus titles and using their online services”.

Link your account to your PS5 and PS4 before 7th March and you’ll earn a free Kazuma Kiryu outfit for Majima to wear in the aforementioned nautical adventure. We suspect, eventually, this account system will also be used for cross-play in the various titles SEGA’s cooking, like its online version of Crazy Taxi.
