One person drowned and six others were rescued from a rip current 100 yards offshore at Seaside Heights beach in New Jersey during dramatic jet ski rescue operation.

The rip current risk at Manhattan Beach on Tuesday is moderate, which means life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone.
