With the 2024 season now officially over, the Michigan Wolverines are turning their full attention toward building the best roster possible for the 2025 season.

Lawrence Hattar was not a big name in the transfer portal, whatsoever. The Livonia, Mich. native has played for Division II Ferris State since 2022, but at 6-foot-5, 335 pounds, he’s a big body at a position of need along the interior offensive line.

Michigan landed a big fish from the transfer portal on Saturday when the Wolverines secured a commitment from Clemson defensive tackle Tre Williams, but Michigan also lost two players that appeared to be locks.

Things had been awfully quiet for Morris in terms of the transfer portal, as there were no reported visits or any signs as to his future destination. However, on Saturday, Morris posted that he is committing to fellow Big Ten foe Indiana — the same school the Wolverines got McCulley from.

Michigan football is adding some help along the offensive line, and he comes from the Division II national champions. Lawrence Hattar, a 6-foot-5, 335-pound offensive lineman at Ferris State, committed to the Wolverines in a social media post on Sunday.
