Manchester United have taken a big step toward solving their striker problem. The club has reportedly reached a full agreement on personal terms with Benjamin Sesko. The RB Leipzig forward is apparently set to sign a deal running until June 2030.

Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig. The Old Trafford side have been battling Newcastle United for the 22-year-old striker, with both teams submitting offers. Newcastle initially tabled €75million plus €5m in add-ons, before raising that on Monday to at least €80m.

Benjamin Sesko is on the move this summer, and Manchester United and Newcastle are the two clubs battling it out to secure his services. The Manchester Evening News reported on Wednesday that United are confident Sesko prefers a move to Old Trafford, but there could still be plenty more twists and turns to come.
