The Syracuse commit scored a game-high 17 points to lead Long Island Lutheran to a 63-57 win at the Hoophall Classic.

Springfield, Mass. — At last year’s Hoophall Classic, Kiyan Anthony was an uncommitted junior and sixth man for Long Island Lutheran, and he turned in a disappointing five points on just 2-of-10 shooting.

Sunday was the first of Lutheran’s two games at the 2025 Hoophall Classic. In the matchup with AZ Compass Prep, Anthony was the star. The wing scored from all three levels and was perfect from the free throw line to finish with a game-high 17 points and the game’s MVP award.

The Syracuse commit led the Crusaders to their second victory in as many days with a team-high 16 points in a 68-55 win over La Lumiere School.
