FX has ordered a fifth season of the Emmy-winning series, with the renewal coming less than a week after The Bear’ s fourth season premiered on June 25. As with previous seasons, the series will stream on Hulu. Season five is due sometime in 2026.

"The Bear" has officially been renewed for a fifth season on FX. The news comes a little over a week after season 4 dropped June 25. John Landgraf, the chairman of FX, announced the renewal in a statement on Wednesday.

Now, The Bear's future, along with Carmy's true plan, is likely to be revealed in the fifth season. It would be believed that if Carmy does leave, then the show would likely cease to exist, though that is just speculation. For now, fans will have to wait until 2026 to see the continuation of the hit series.
