"FBI" has been renewed through Season 9 into the 2026-2027 broadcast season, but CBS has canceled the two spinoffs.

The TV procedural world was upended on Tuesday (March 4) afternoon when the news came down that not one but two fan favorites would be given the sudden kibosh by their network. Both FBI spinoffs FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted were suddenly canceled by CBS after four and six seasons, respectively.

All season long, there were rumblings that one of the FBI spinoffs were destined for cancellation. The negative buzz surrounding the fates of both FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted were both right.

The universe of Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television's "FBI" franchise is getting a little smaller – at least for now – with CBS opting not to renew Dylan McDermott-starring FBI: Most Wanted for a seventh season and Jesse Lee Soffer-starring FBI: International for a fifth season.
