Police say two women were injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon on Detroit's west side. The shooting happened at about 2 p.m. in the 7000 block of Braile Street. Police Captain Shannon Hampton said the shooting was retaliatory and stemmed from an incident that happened on Monday.

Two teens were wounded Sunday in a shooting during what police said was an illegal street party on Detroit's west side, according to authorities. The shooting happened around 12:09 a.m. Sunday in the 15700 block of Coyle Street near Puritan and Hubbell avenues, police said.
