Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman was released from jail after being taken into custody Friday with multiple firearms in his possession. The investigation is ongoing.

Shortly before Perryman was released from custody, Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh addressed the linebacker's arrest at training camp. Harbaugh said he visited Perryman on Sunday, and the team was prepared to let the legal process play out.

The L.A. County District Attorney’s office said the case was reviewed and returned to law enforcement for further investigation.
