The Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish square off at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the College Football Playoff National Championship.

No one expected either of the two teams playing in tonight’s College Football National Championship game to make it this far. Oregon and Georgia were the favorites, but both were eliminated in early January.

The No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes and the No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish will face off in the finale of the College Football Playoff (CFP). The matchup will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday, Jan. 20, and is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT.
