Christopher Nolan's next movie will be an adaptation of The Odyssey, and he's already keeping the promise he made about his post-Oppenheimer work.

Featuring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain, Interstellar combines stunning visuals with heartfelt storytelling, solidifying its place as a box office success.

Christopher Nolan's follow-up film to "Oppenheimer" is an action Greek epic adaptation of Homer's "The Odyssey."

Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson and Anne Hathaway are among the cast for the director’s take on the epic poem.

Details remain scarce, but the studio teased that it will be a “mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX technology.”

In November, multiple outlets reported that Zendaya , Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon will star in Nolan’s next work. The movie marks several on-screen reunions, including the one between real-life couple Zendaya and Holland, who starred in the Spider-Man movies together, most recently, Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021.

“ Christopher Nolan ’s next film ‘The Odyssey’ is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology,” said the studio. “The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026.”
