Sonic the Hedgehog 3 showed Carrey's comedic genius shine in two roles. The first was Dr. Ivo Robotnik, the evil "Eggman" and Sonic's arch-nemesis, who also appeared in the last two chapters.

The new adversary is quickly seen teaming up with Sonic's arch-nemesis, Dr Ivo Robotnik, aka Eggman, alongside a surprise new villain: Eggman's long-lost grandfather, Dr Gerald Robotnik.

Dr. Gerald Hill passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 31st 2024 at the age of 88. He was born in Wichita Falls on June 1st 1936 to the late Lennon Hill and Marie Watson Hill.
