The Los Angeles Lakers and superstar guard Luka Doncic have reached an agreement on a three-year contract extension, which includes a player option in 2028.

The Lakers’ future will feature Luka Doncic as their focal point. Doncic signed a three-year, $165 million max contract extension with Los Angeles that includes a player option for the 2028-29 season, according to ESPN.

NBA guard, who could have become a free agent next summer, is now eligible to sign a five-year deal worth more than $360 million in 2028.
