FAU names Adam Hasner, former legislator, private prison exec, as its new president
Hasner, 55, is currently an executive vice president for The Geo Group, a private prison company based in Boca Raton. His hiring came a week after the trustees voted to boost the total compensation for the presidential job to between $1 million and $1.5 million.
