Cooper Flagg is one of the most hyped rookies in NBA history after being the top selection in the 2025 NBA Draft. He had an outstanding one-and-done campaign with the Duke Blue Devils in which he led his team to the Final Four, along with winning National Player of the Year as a true freshman.

The Dallas Mavericks are looking at two sites for a new arena and entertainment complex as the team prepares for its first season with Cooper Flagg, the top pick in this year’s NBA draft.

The Dallas Mavericks (literally) got a winning lottery ticket in Cooper Flagg, and head coach Jason Kidd has been experimenting with how best to use him at the NBA Summer League. While Flagg is traditionally seen as a forward - likely a power forward with a larger center on the floor with him - Kidd appears to be trying something different.
