The total lunar eclipse, also known as a "blood moon," will take place overnight between Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14. The last time there was a total lunar eclipse was in November 2022.

On March 14, a total lunar eclipse will occur, turning the moon a deep red shade, which is why it’s called a Blood Moon. Interestingly, this year, the Blood Moon has a special connection with Holi.
