Comptroller candidate Mark Levine nabbed the endorsement Wednesday of Democratic firebrand — and potential gubernatorial challenger — Rep. Ritchie Torres as the race for the open seat narrows to a two-man primary.

Bronx Congressman Ritchie Torres is accusing Gov. Kathy Hochul of bungling oversight of a program for toddlers with severe disabilities such as autism and down’s syndrome.

A new bill introduced on Wednesday by Rep. Ritchie Torres, a Bronx Democrat, would offer taxpayers a 20% credit for filtration systems that remove lead from drinking water. Yet Torres voted for the Laken Riley Act that includes undocumented migrants who are accused of nonviolent theft-based crimes — like shoplifting — as candidates for deportation. In March, he voted against last year’s version of the bill.
