WASHINGTON (7News) — A military parade celebrated the Army's 250th in Washington D.C., with thousands of people in attendance. Aside from the parade, there was also concert and fireworks as part of the celebration. The celebration also coincides with President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday, National Flag Day, and the Army’s 250th anniversary.
Washington is ramping up for a massive military parade on Saturday afternoon in celebration of the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary. The June 14 date also coincides with President Trump’s 79th birthday.
The Army had a range of events this week to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the service, culminating with Saturday night’s parade that coincided with President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.
