Son Woong-jung, a football coach and father of Premier League star Son Heung-min, was ordered by a local court Friday to pay a fine over charges of abusing young players at his football training center.

According to the Associated Press, via Washington Times, the Tottenham star's dad, Son Woong-jung, was fined €2,200 (£1,683) by the Chuncheon District Court for the violation at the Son Football Academy.

The academy opened in 2021, with much of the estimated cost of $15 million funded by Son Heung-min, the Tottenham and South Korea star
