Slow Horses will return to Apple TV+ for Season 5 this fall. The streamer revealed Tuesday that the fifth installment of the espionage drama will debut with the first two episodes on September 24, followed by one episode weekly until October 22. Luckily, there’s already a Season 6 incoming, too, as the series was renewed in October.

Fans of Slow Horses have voiced their disappointment as the premiere date for season five has been confirmed - and it's later than anticipated. Apple TV+'s highly praised thriller series, based on Mick Herron's Slough House series of crime novels, has been lauded for its quick production turnaround.

“ Slow Horses ,” the Apple TV+ drama starring Gary Oldman, will return for its fifth season on Sept. 24. Season 5 will kick off with two episodes, followed by one episode weekly until the finale on Oct. 22.
