More than a hundred Hilton hotel workers in Seattle have walked off the job, calling for higher wages, fair staffing and workloads, and the reversal of COVID-19 era cuts, the Unite Here union said on Saturday.

Hundreds of hotel workers at Seattle’s Hilton properties have walked off the job, demanding higher wages and improved working conditions. The Unite Here union announced that 374 employees from two Hilton Seattle Airport hotels began a weeklong strike set to end on Oct. 19.
