Xbox has some killer games on the way, and soon, too. Will the incoming software wave be enough to bolster Game Pass and inspire confidence for unsure Xbox owners?

Xbox Cloud Gaming is becoming a major part of Microsoft's games business these days, especially as it continues to expand Xbox as a platform, and some new information from Windows Central hints at how the tech could improve drastically in the near future.

Microsoft has revealed that additional games will arrive in Xbox Game Pass in January for console, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, alongside some games leaving the subscription.

They include five day one releases. In addition to the previously confirmed Lonely Mountain: Snow Riders, which is out now, they are Sniper Elite: Resistance, Eternal Strands, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector.

Xbox has revealed a bunch more Xbox Game Pass Games for January some of which are new to the entire platform and others which are new to Xbox Game Pass Standard (the new lower tier). The big new titles are Sniper Elite: Resistance and Citizen Sleeper 2 which will both launch on Xbox Game Pass.
