On this week's taping of Off the Record, political reporters spotlighted a growing concern across Northern Michigan’s farm country: federal disaster aid may be on the way, but it’s not nearly enough to cover the damage left behind by this year’s historic March ice storm.

The SBA and the East Jordan Chamber of Commerce will be holding a disaster loan registration event next week for homeowners, renters, businesses and non-profits in Charlevoix County. It was just one of the 12 Northern Michigan counties that suffered widespread devastation.
