Snooker star Kyren Wilson has revealed he managed to play through the pain barrier at the Masters after suffering a bizarre injury in his bedroom. The 33-year-old hailed his quarter-final win over Luca Brecel as "one of the best" of his career following his 6-4 success over the former world champion on Friday.

Kyren Wilson may be the world champion but he feels his ‘CV is still quite weak’ and would love to address that at the Masters this week. The Warrior is into the quarter-finals after a 6-4 win over Zhang Anda on Wednesday afternoon, setting up a clash with either Luca Brecel or Chris Wakelin.

Kyren Wilson secured his place in the last eight of the Masters with a 6-4 defeat of Zhang Anda at Alexandra Palace.
