Charges have been filed in connection to a murder last week on Capitol Drive in Green Bay. James Dorr, 34, is set to appear for the first time at the Brown County Courthouse on Thursday.

James Dorr, 34, faces five charges, including first-degree intentional homicide and mistreatment of animal causing death.

In an interview with police, Dorr admitted to stabbing the victim, who he identified as his Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, and his dog. Dorr said that he did not have a permanent address and stayed between the victim's apartment and the homeless shelter.
