The Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night signed forward Andrew Mangiapane, 29, to a two-year contract that carries an average annual value of $3.6 million, the club announced, adding a veteran who might be able to fill the slot left behind by Corey Perry.

The Oilers have added some depth to their crease, as the team has signed a 31-year-old goaltender who played for Team Canada and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
