For the last month, AEW programming has been dominated by the Continental Classic: a round-robin tournament to decide the fate of the AEW Continental Championship. The current champion, Kazuchika Okada, advanced to the semifinals this past week on Wednesday Night “Dynamite.”

The second-ever Continental Classic came to an end at Saturday’s AEW Worlds End with Kazuchika Okada winning the entire tournament, retaining his Continental title in the final against Will Ospreay.

AEW Worlds End saw the returns of two major stars in Kenny Omega & Adam Copeland, and a women's wrestling classic.

Kazuchika Okada will have the opportunity to defend his Continental Championship later tonight at AEW Worlds End. The finish of the match saw Okada hit Ricochet with the Rainmaker to score the pinfall victory.
