Roseville — The ex-boyfriend of a missing Warren woman was charged with first-degree murder Friday and ordered remanded to the Macomb County Jail without bond after police said they found blood in the defendant's bathroom with DNA that matched the victim.

Elkins' ex-boyfriend, De’Andre Booker, 32, of Roseville, was arraigned in Macomb County court this morning on a charge of first-degree murder; he was denied bond and remanded to jail, the report said. He was previously charged with lying to police related to Elkin’s disappearance. Booker is due back in court on Wednesday.
